I’m Doing Social Media So Where Are the New Customers?

When we spend time or money on something, we expect a return on our investment. If we don’t get it, we ask for a refund or stop using it. If you're consistently utilizing social media for your business, but you’re not getting a bunch of new customers, don't abandon your efforts!



It is far more helpful to think of social media as another avenue of communication. Your business has a phone number, email, and a website. Why? Because those items make it easier for your customers to reach you. Social media is another way for a customer to review your product or service, ask questions, make an appointment, or purchase.


Instead of looking for an immediate monetary return on your social media efforts, start thinking of it as another way to communicate with your customers. If someone is interested in your product or service, you want to make it as easy as possible for them to reach you. More and more, this includes communicating via social media.
